3D Art: Halloween Characters
Description: In this activity, all we used was paper, scissors, permanent markers, and glue. We focused on making the face of the Halloween characters three-dimensional. We also made the nose three-dimensional. We got some freedom in how we wanted to make our character so I created some which ears, squiggly eyes, some fluffy eyebrows, a which hat, and some curly hair. Step-by-step we made each part of the character and glued in on to our big piece of construction paper. We had to fold the sides of the face and the nose too make them three-dimensional.
Extension Activity: As an extension activity, I would keep the art lesson going and have students create a way for the monster to be able to stand up on its own. Students would have to figure out a way to use paper and glue to allow for the entire monster look like it is standing up. They would have to do this by using more folds on the back.
